Buddy

Buddy

5/10/08

Buddy has a very effervescent personality. A friend of mine kept Buddy while I was in Arkansas and said that he socialized really well with her dogs. He does walk ok on a lease. He will need to have a fenced yard as he does try to herd the cars when they go by. I have had him next to the neighbor's cats and he was not overly aggressive towards them. He has not shown any food aggression or being overly possessive. He rides really well although he often tries to get into your lap.

Buddy was dumped at the home of a lady about 25 miles from where I live. She has been keeping him in her garage, but is becoming upset because Buddy will herd her lab and cat.

Buddy seems to be very laid back (didn't go nuts when I visited to take pictures) and just wants to be around someone who will care for him. Buddy appears to be a smooth coat with a lot of bc in him. I cannot say for sure that he is a purebred. He appears to have been taken care (teeth, gum color, eyes all look good to me). He had no collar when taken in. Temporary "foster" says that he did real good with a young neighbor boy, has learned sit, and will walk on a leash.
