04/3/08 Ceri is learning some self control but does have a ton of drive. She has learned wait at the door to go outside. Now has excellent eye contact. Has learned more house manners and better manners with the other dogs. She is learning to read the other dogs so it makes for a happier home. She has learned to respect an ugly face or a growl from one of the other dogs and now backs off. She loves tennis balls and would love someone to throw one for her all day long. She is very good at bringing it back to you and we are working on her delivering it to your hand. As far as stuffed toys she thinks they are for destuffing. Still very much a puppy when it comes to chewing. She has to have bones and nylabones to satisfy her chewing desires. She also loves squeaky balls. She goes to the door and rings the bells when she needs to go outside. She sleeps in her crate during the night and when I am away from home. She could be an only dog or a home with another dog that is very solid and sure of themselves. She will need a active home and will need to be enrolled in a obedience class as soon as she is adopted. She is a dog that will take advantage of any room you give her. She need consistency and rules as her first home did not set any rules so she came to us as a 7 month old that acted like a 3 month old puppy. 02/21/08 Ceri is a 8 month old high drive pure bred border collie who have never had any boundaries set for her before she came into rescue. We are working on her manners.
