I HAVE A VIDEO

02/13/10

Some dogs end up losing their homes through no fault of their own. Although rescue groups rarely know how accurate the history is on the dogs we take in, what history we have certainly suggests that is the case with this boy. After having him in our home for a couple of weeks now, we are even more certain that his predicament was caused by circumstances out of his control. This is a Border Collie that simple wants to be with someone. He has no real needs other than someone to help him slim down a bit and has no behavioral issues that we can see. He’s a low energy guy that came to us housetrained, knows basic obedience commands, walks well on a leash and is trustworthy with full access to our home. He chews only on the dogs toys available to him, respects the pack structure in our house, is doing very well using his crate (enters on his own for naps when needed) and did very well with all the kids and dogs he met during his transfer across 5 states. Corey is looking for a family that simply will give him the home full of love that he needs along with a reasonable amount of exercise to help him loose a little weight (he needs to lose about 20 lbs) - a canine playmate would be an added plus.  He rides well in a car, is not pushy for attention, settles well and plays well with other dogs. An incredible addition for a home looking for a companion BC. If you think you are that home, please send your inquiries to Greg and Sue.
