Our family leapt into the dog world with a Border Collie puppy. Three years later, I still felt that one dog was plenty. I had a slight acquaintance with a rescuer, and went to the MBCR website to check out her current foster dog.

Well, one look at Danni, and I was gone. I waited about a week before filling out the adoption application. I slyly told my husband Danni’s story, and then told him I had submitted an application.

This was the best decision I have ever made. Danni and our Deizel had no problems adjusting to each other. It was like they both were looking for a friend. Watching Danni blossom over the past 16 months has been terrific. He now knows that he is home, that he is with his forever family. He worked his way into our life’s and our hearts. I cannot remember anything from before Danni joined our family, and I cannot imagine life without him.
