Patch, now Quinn

An adopted Border Collie

Hi! It is me, Patch here! Only nobody calls me “Patch” anymore. When I was adopted on November 13, 2004 not only did my life change, but my name changed too! My name is now Quinn. It is hard to believe that I have been living with Bev for over two years now. A lot has changed in the time I have been here, I have grown a couple inches taller, and I have gained about 20 pounds! My coat is all shiny now and people always tell me how soft I am to pet. I have been to Basic and Super Basic Obedience classes, although I don’t know why I had to go after all, I am a Border Collie and we are very smart!

When I got adopted Bev thought it would be a good idea for me to start a blog to keep people updated on my progress. My blog is called “The World According to Quinn” and it chronicles my adventures since I have been adopted. You can view it at: http://quinnsworld.blogspot.com/

Recently Bev adopted another dog, his name is Oliver Twist. Now I blog about my adventures and Oliver’s as he adjusts to his new life with me and Bev.

My thanks to MidAmerica Border Collie Rescue and especially Mary, my foster mom, for giving me a life many dogs only get to dream about. Know that I am happy, and I am loved for the dog that I am.
