4/29/2008 As I checked email this evening, Charlie came and laid his head in my lap. "No, Charlie, no emails about you tonight" I told him. He quietly thumped his tail enjoying the attention he was getting. "Don't worry. You are a very special dog and a very special home is just waiting to find you." Charlie sighed, nudged my hand for one last pat and then laid down beside me, tail thumping on the hardwood floor. Charlie is a very special guy. Not being able to see has not stopped him a bit. He loves to be outside on these pretty spring days and will spend the day laying in the sun soaking up the rays. He is the only dog I have that will jump the baby gate...not that it matters, he just wants to be on the other side, he has yet to have an accident or chew on anything. At some time in his life, Charlie must have had a family who loved him. He has wonderful manners and has yet to meet a person, dog or cat he doesn't love. He would really like a family of his own. A forever family this time. 3/13/2008 Charlie would be the perfect companion for a first time dog owner, busy family, or older person or couple. Charlie just wants a little attention, some good food, and a big, soft dog bed. Even though he has very little sight, he is not at all fearful and is not hyper-sensitive to new sounds. He is an extrememly laid back guy who gets along with any other dog, cat and he adores kids! He is very low energy, I would rate him a 1. He gets wiggly when I first get home, but after a few pats on the head and a rub down, he will go find a quiet place to lay back down. He loves attention, but does come seek it out. Charlie has been with me for about 6 weeks now and has yet to have an accident, chew anything or do any counter surfing. CHARLIE THE CAT LOVER!!

The only way we usually know where Charlie is is to listen for his tail thumping on the ground. Charlie is completely housetrained and has been left alone in my house for ten hours a day without chewing anything or having an accident. He currently lives with 4 other dogs, 4 cats and 2 kids and he loves them all. At night he curls up in the cat bed beside my bed where he sleeps all night curled into a tiny ball. Charlie is currently being fosterd in Kentucky and really hopes to meet you soon! 01/23/2008 I
just got off the phone with my vet and Blind Charlie may not be blind
for long! He has severe uveitis, which could have been caused by an
injury, we will probably never know for sure. For more information please contact Jean
